First in Energy Insights series explores role of research in addressing energy challenges in Sierra Leone
In the first in the EEG Energy Insights series, Simon Trace explores some of the energy challenges faced in Sierra Leone, a country with one of the lowest rates of access to electricity in the world.
By gathering insight and opinions from across the sector, EEG is setting out to deliver a programme of research specifically designed to address challenges identified by stakeholders themselves. This first research programme from EEG aims to provide valuable insights for planning and policy development.
Based on the challenges and opportunities outlined, a Call for Applications was issued in March 2018.
