Bioenergy for Sustainable Energy Access in Africa (BSEAA) research call
The Carbon Trust is notifying potential bidders of an upcoming tender opportunity for the BSEAA research project.
BSEAA forms part of the Department for International Development’s (DfID) funded Transforming Energy Access (TEA) programme. The TEA programme commenced in 2016 and will run until end of 2021. The objective of the TEA programme is to be transformative and open up clean energy markets, to identify and overcome barriers hampering energy access and the scaling up of innovative technologies, and accelerate access to affordable, clean energy. The TEA programme’s focus is within Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia however the BSEAA component shall focus exclusively on Sub-Saharan Africa.
